Glen Schofield, Chief executive officer of PUBG studio Striking Distance, has described its developing PUBG project as a "quadrangle-A" game (via VGC).

In an question with VentureBeat, Schofield was able to shed a little light along the studio's journey and the challenges he and his team have grappled with during the general. Striking Distance has virtually 80 employees, with "a lot of hiring to exercise, 40 operating room 50 to a greater extent citizenry, all told kinds of disciplines." The studio is working remotely which substance that bound elements of development, equivalent motion capture, have to be put on hold until things settle down once more.

"We practiced working from home," said Schofield. "Hoi polloi came back on that Monday and Army of the Pure us know what equipment they were missing or what wasn't working. We had our network guys fix everything. We went out and got whatever equipment, in most cases cameras. We locked and encrypted all the PCs for everyone who wanted to bring a PC home. We were ready when we shut down the studio, and we're 100 per centum up and running." Schofield also declared that the chance to direct this sort of studio and produce this screen of game is "a dream come true… I couldn't ask in for anything better."

He wasn't able to enounce what the studio is rustling up in the East Bay Area of California, but it is patent that Schofield is proud of what the team has accomplished thusly far. "We've entirely been working on the lame some seven or eight months. Most of it coming up with mechanics, and a slew of story," he explained. "We have a couple of of import story people. We have people from all sort out now, so we're getting underway and starting to build stuff. The underlying engineering also."

Interestingly, the game "quad-A," according to Schofield. "We Leslie Townes Hope to just make something triple-A. We'Re in reality calling it quad-A," he aforesaid. "We lack to go above and on the far side and wee something special. That's what PUBG has allowed me to do. Hopefully we'll own something great to release to our fans."
